G’DAY

My name is Stacey Robinson-Stocco . I am an Australian and Canadian Citizen. I Currently reside in Hantsport, NS with my spouse, and 2 dogs. I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia.

My career for many years was a Professional Women’s Soccer Player, having played worldwide, and being lucky enough to represent my country. Unfortunately my career ended due to injury in 2009. My passion for soccer then led me into a career in coaching at the university, provincial and club levels here in Nova Scotia. I then decided to return to high school at the age of 30 to complete my high school diploma so I could move towards a career in another direction besides soccer.

I have always had an interest in mechanics , particularly small engine mechanics. I enrolled in the Small Engine Repair program through International Career School Canada (ICS), in August 2019
and I graduated in April 2020. I completed my apprenticeship hours where I learned how to observe, troubleshoot, diagnose and fix a variety of small engine equipment. This equipment included Lawn mowers, Ride on mowers, Snow Blowers, Chainsaws, Generators, Water pumps, Trimmers, etc.

I am proud to say that I am a certified Small Engine Mechanic and obtained my certification through the Equipment and Engine Training Council Technician Certification Program (EETC). I am a 2-stroke, 4-stroke certified mechanic with Briggs and Stratton, and Kohler status. I am a Husqvarna certified service dealer.

I pride myself on making my customers my number one priority, always respecting their concerns, always respecting the equipment itself, being honest, and being a hardworking, determined individual.

Why, “STOCS” Small Engine Repair?

I wanted to bring apart of my past, present, and future into my business. Throughout my whole soccer career my nickname was STOCS, seem my last name was Stocco, never did I go by Stacey. The kangaroo symbolizes my upbringing as a proud Australian, The red wrench on the Kangaroos heart symbolizes my love for Canada, and the engine symbolizes my future as a small engine mechanic.
